found this over at another forum where Dustin Whipple was talking about his S-Charger.

Not so good news for Automatics-they won't have a S-charger available until after summer or so. Dustin Whipple was saying there would have to be some sort of torque management developed.

If I could stop drooling I would, but I can't so I'd better get a drink of water before I become dehydrated

I'd love to get my hands on one, and if/when someone comes out with a hood like on the concept, make a functional ram air from the scoops... to help cool the charge a little if not for anything else.

oh yes...... it will be mine.

I was at Steeda today getting my pony tuned with my underdrive pullies and they said it won't be available until FEB. Dustin Whipple himself emailed me and said Jan. $5000 is about right, if I recall. Steeda will get an additional $900, unless I can get someone to school me on the install. I'm not afraid to do it, it's just those little things that count. Besides, I will still need to have it sitting on a dyno to have it Flashed all over again-properly. When I was there, some guy just arrived from the West coast (florida) in an 05-Sonic Blue and was having everything available at Steeda installed. Fred at Steeda said what he was getting was similiar to the Q setup. It was kinda annoying though...this is what I was hearing..."We also have a new shifter" "Yea, go ahead and throw that on there." "We have some new lowering springs" "yea, go ahead and throw that on there." and so on and so on. He was having the center portion of the hood painted black as well as that portion around the trunk emblem. He was simply there to burn some money! I suppose I was a bit jealous. OH well, in due time!

With horsepower comes money, lots of it. The more you want (HP) the more you need ($$$). Spend wisely.

Yep, I think this is going to be my main modification! By the time winter is over, there should be a great deal of exhaust options and combine that with the SC and that should be all I need!!!

Agreed!
I've put on the underdrive and Flash, but that's just to hold me over until this charger comes around. BIG difference with the flash and pullies-BIG! I ventured out to Moroso to give her a run at the 1/4 mile. Was inspected, watched a few of the more serious cars (different class) and then with the first sportsman run-oil all over the track. So the get the oil cleaned up and it starts to rain. 2 hours for nothing! Maybe I just wasn't supposed to run tonight. So, I will have to wait until January for the track to open back up. Can't wait!

I forgot to post a few responses from some companies when I emailed them a few weeks ago, here was Whipple's response.

"Brandon, our 05 Stang kit should be relesed in early Feb. of 05'. The system will produce nearly 450hp and 500lbs of torque, very large increase vs. stock. The system should run approx. $5000 and should be able to be installed in one day.

Thanks,
Dustin
