these hwak pads work awesome but they do make the rims dirty very easily.

Meguiar's Hot Rims melts the dust off, still use a brush though.

I use nothing but Meguiars products. Extremely please with them. Especially the NXT line.

Try their Gold Class Instant Wheel Cleaner or any of their other products.

Water. I wash my wheels with water and a rag. Dust comes right off.

Yeah...washing should not be a problem.

I just use whats leftover in the bucket and an old wash mit.
Basically you need a bit of elbo grease to get it off...
