is your friend running that on his stock 5.4 or did he need a new block, internals, or engine.

Im running the stock block. The rods arent the "crap" that some people think. They're almost bulletproof in compression. Where you have to watch them is in "tension" a.k.a. RPM. Dont spin it past the stock 6200 or preferably 6000K and your good!

nice, i think most people were referring to the stock gt rods not the gt500, but maybe not. What kind of hp and ft. lbs are you making?

Gotta love the sound of the twin screws. I remember that sound so well on my 96 cobra. How much boost are you running? Because you don't get that much whine with under 10 or 12 lbs of boost minimum.
