Vibration In Shifter

Hello everyone! I may have posted a question on this not too long, I can't remember for sure. Assuming I haven't, here is my question/dilemma. There is a a vibration coming from my Roush shifter just as I am about to shift into the next highest gear. At first I thought it was the inner boot causing the problem but that has since been ruled out. Now, I believe that is something in the shift lever itself. What is strange is that if I take the **** off and go through the gears just as I normally would, the sound is not there. However, when it is on the car, I have to either press down on the **** or lift up on it very gently. Any suggestions on what I can do to get rid of that sound? I'm going under the car tomorrow and confirm if all iof the bolts, especially the 10mm bolt that connects the bottom of the shifter to the tranny. Is there anything else that I can try?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Jon
