The rubber band idea is fantastic, I also found that if I turned the puller slightly I believe it was clockwise there is a larger lip in the Harmonic Balancer for the hooks to grab.

Question I have, when installing can the balancer be set on and turned till it stops and be safe to assum that keyway and key are aligned?

I'm also going to guess that pressing the balancer one will take some force?

The ballancer has a grove in it, you have to match it up with the grove on the car. As for putting it back on. The steeda kit comes with a longer bolt to get it going, once its on there you take the bolt out, and use the new bolt thats the same length as the original. And for us auto guys you will need a helper, To torque the bolt you need someone to hold the torque coverter from spinning. Man that was a pain

Why does Motoblue come with an extra pully....is it better than the stock one?
