You gotta respectable size intercooler. The flow pattern from left to right and bottom to top is the best way to have it done. Looks goood!

I don't want to start a vendor battle. We did have quite a few problems. I don't have the car back yet so that's all for the pics until next week.

 

let the venders "battle" if they feel so inclined. Im sure there are many out there that could benefit from your experience good or bad. Id like to know what to recommend to friends when they ask what kit to buy.

 

+1 I never understood that...if there are problems with a kit why try to hide it from anyone looking to benefit from your experiences?

If the vendors wanna moan about losing business because of a real world problem and its discussion on a forum, they might wanna think about redesigning the kit .02

 

I believe my problems were because it was the very first kit they sent out to a customer. It's not right because my problems should be solved with future kits being sent out. I'm also doing some future business with Turbohorsepower so I'm not going to start a public fight about problems that I had that no one else should.

then how are you in a position to "offer: your impressions of the kit? Whether you are the very first or the 100th customer to receive the kit the bottom line is (unless they gave you a discount for being a guinea pig) you bought it they shipped it. I don’t know why you started a thread if you cant wont give any true information.

 

 

Haha ok well what CAN you tell me about that kit?

 

The quality of the parts used is top notch. Good welds, everything is Jet-Hot coated which helps underhood temps, it uses the stock exhaust manifolds which is what lowers the price below the other single turbo kits. I also liked the fact that the kit is so customizable from turbohorsepower. Turbo sizing, injector sizing, intercooler sizing, etc. Lots of stuff to choose from.

Stock block. I'm not sure what Doug thought of the kit and I wasn't there to video the dyno unfortunatly but I'll video some fun runs tomorrow for sure.

 

Nice numbers, that 76mm is just getting started at 10 psi. When you get your built block installed you can crank it up.
