I plan on getting a C&L intake and either the Pred or SCT. I know next to nothing about "tunes" for these things. How do I know where to get them, differences between tunes, etc? Are there 87 octane tunes and does any1 recommend them or does every1 just tune for 91/93 oct? Any info people have on tunes would be much obliged. Thanks!

The choice between Diablo or SCT is purely your preference and the reason I went with SCT is because the shop I dyno at uses SCT software so it just made sense. If you are just buying a "canned" tune to go along with your new intake then yes you can get tunes for different octane ratings depending on what you want to run. You will get a little more power out of a 93 tune then you will an 87 bc the timing will be a little more advanced. If you dont want to pay for 93 all the time then go for the 87-it wont hurt you that much in the power department. A good place to get SCT is through Doug@Bamachips. Nothing but great feedback from all his customers. Hope this helps
