TUNE ISSUE

IM HAVING A TUNE ISSUE WITH MY MUSTANG GT 2008 , I GOT A NEW TUNE FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY AND THE TUNE LAGS UNDER 3000 IT FEEL LIKE IM HAVING THE POWER OF A 4 CYLINDER , AS SOON THE RPM REACHES 3000 RPM THE POWER KICKS IN AND EVEN LOOSENS UP THE TIRES AT THAT POINT , THEY SENT ME A FEW TUNES ALREADY AND THEY CAME UP WITH THAT IT POSSIBLY COUL BE THE CHARGE MOTION PLATES, BUT THEY NEVER OPEN UP UNTIL 3000 AND THEY WORK AS THEY SHOULD, EVEN SHOULD GIVE MORE TORQUE AT LOWER RPM WHILE CLOSED THEN OPEN , HAS ANYBODY HAD THIS ISSUE?

Uh..what tuner do you have? You say from a different company. Did you buy from AM and order tunes from a different company? Because I'm pretty sure you can't do that.

Id guess it's something to do with the induction, some sort of sensor. Its gonna take some testing to figure it out though. It could also have to do with the VCT and oil pressure. I'd let someone that knows modulars really well look at it. Hope you get it resolved soon.

I was using Bama tunes from AM and later bought tunes at Brenspeed because AM dont tune superchargers and I was going to try out there tune before installing the supercharger , with Bama tunes theres no issue with the car and only changin the tune it does that

My previous tune was Brenspeed and I had a similar complaint about the tune. It seemed sluggish, non responsive until 3K+ RPMs. I am now using a tune from Doug at C&L and the difference is night and day. I will not use Brenspeed again. Good luck, I hope you get it worked out. Personally I wouldn't use an email tune after installing a SC. You really should dyno tune once you're blown.

I hear ya, I would have to drive a long distance for a dyno tune as well. Nothing in my local area. Good luck on the tune issue.

I think it's all in most peoples heads, AM vs brenspeed vs bBR

My brenspeed tuned car ran a 13.1 @ 105 with just 410s and tune, Xpipe

The DA was 2800 feet too btw and the 60' foot sucked at 1.96

I have been tuning with Brenspeed since 2005 on my car. I have had some side steps a couple of times with the custom tunes they have done for me but they have always. And I say always fixed any issue I had. Call them and give them the opportunity to make it right. Your being dumb if you don't. Brent is the best.
