Trying to find the right shifter ****?

I want a black 8 ball style shifter **** for my car. I have found them but what I am looking for is one that is real heavy. I want it to help me shift better. Does any one know were to find one that is pretty heavy compared to stock and it needs to be able to fit the stock threads. I believe that the hurst is not the same thread size. Please help me find my right shifter ****. Thanks

I believe you can find something here... you want a shift ball that will fit the stock S-197 mustang... I believe it is 12mm X 1.25 thread size. The Hurst ***** for the 05-07's is 2 1/4" dia.

I looked on the links you provided and couldn't find any in my thread size. The threads on the older cars are different than ours. Thanks for the quick response though.

Guy named Bruce Roosa from http://www.koolknobs.com/ made mine. have nothing but awesome things to say about the guy. will basically make anything you want. awesome service, and great guy to deal with. I think it took about 8-10 days from order to receive the shift **** as well. he also made the adapter so that the ball sits at the right height on the stock shifter.

good luck.

Sam
