I would say 150-175 u can get a trans cooler if you want, trans coolers are good if u have a stall, but u really don't need them on manuals

I have a set of Aeroforce gauges and the trans temp is one thing I monitor. In the winter 145-150 and in the summer when it is 95 outside I have seen 185. But that is running 70 mph on the highway with 4:10 gears.

Mine runs 170. I saw 258 once, after a 20 minute road race session in 95 degree heat. But at the strip, even when hot lapping, it doesn't go over 185. I do have a 3200 stall converter and the PA deep pan. If you're seeing 215 regularly, check your fluid level. Running low on fluid will make it run hotter, and heat is not good.

It already has a trans cooler from the factory which is pretty good. I would guess low on fluid and the damage is most likely done at those temps.

My friend fried 2 transmissions shortly after hot lapping and he noticed his trans temp gauge was around that temp. The 2nd trans was a level 10 fully built.
