No, the bellhousing is different. The T5 has never been used behind the 4.6L/5.4L modular motors. The V8's use the Tremec 3650 transmission.

I thaught they used the T5's in the last body style of GT's?

 

No, the last body style used the T45, followed by the 3650 for '02 and up I believe. The T5 has not been used behind a V8 since the 5.0's.
