Traction Control Auto Off Mod
I did this over the weekend and man it works great , Thanks Steve. I have an 05 that came with the shaker 500 and my harness didn't have a red wire with a black strip , so I used one of the fuses that Willie point out. My manual said the top one was to the radio , probably the wire on the harness that Steve used , and the lower one was for starter relay circuit and that's the one I used. Thanks again guy's ...
OK, I did some research regarding an easier way to access the wire for the TCS and found something interesting but unfortunately my car is in winter storage and can't validate this.
So maybe someone could try this and and let us know, it would avoid removing the center console for that WH/PK wire.
First, here's the wiring diagram of the center console switches, you will notice that the TCS control wire (WH/PK) is going from connector C2039 to the instrument cluster connector C220.

Now looking at the harness location of these two connectors you will notice that the harness comes down to the climate control area to go back up to the cluster from the driver side.

So hopefully that harness would be visible and could be access from the dirver footwell or worst case by only removing the sail panel.
Can someone have a look at his car and see if the harness is accessible ?
Thanks,

Good stuff. I've been waiting for someone to show me an easy way to do this... Here in SoCal I never have the TCS on and the button is actually getting "shiny" from my finger pushing it [took a while but now it is without thinking] everytime I start...
Thanks guys!

I did this a couple of weeks ago , and man it works great. Accessing the button wire isn't that bad and I used the starter circuit fuse for the power , so I didn't have to remove the radio to get to it's harness. However you do it , I think it's well worth the trouble ...
My wife has had the mod in her car since I got it ironed out and she loves it. Her GT/CS is a daily driver and we were buzzing down the highway when it started to drizzle. Without missing a beat, traction control back on.... She got use to the new mode very quickly.
If I had to do it again I would go with the add a fuse method for power, and solder a wire to the button pin inside the TCS switch drill a small hole and run the wire out. This way It's 100% removable, trip to the junk yard for a switch and you're out clean. No stupid wire clips no damage to your wires....

With the Convertible One-touch module, I will have to CUT the Red/Black wire and connect to the wire on the SJB side. Which end should I connect the wire to the 85 terminal on the relay, the one closest to the radio or the SJB? In other words, does the radio supply the power or the SJB?
Michael , I pulled the power off the two fuses in the SJB that Willie pointed out , one of them was for the starter relay and that's the one I used an add a circuit on ...
Ok, I cant get it to work. I installed the relay this is what happens.
When the car cranks, while the key is at start, the relay clicks the traction control turns off(light turns on), but when I release the key, once the engine starts, the traction control turn back on(light turns off).
I turn the key to start without the clutch in, the traction control turns off, but once I release the key and it turns back to on, then the traction control turns back on(light goes out.)
Help me if you can.

Are you sure you are using the right Red/Black wire ?
My take on this is that you are using a feed that sends 12 volts when the car is "ON" not only during "Start"
I don't thik that the "One touch" top down circuit would suggest you to use a "start only" circuit. The "start only" wire used for this mod only has 12 volts only for a couple of seconds when you crank, therefore using this feed for your "One touch" would not work as you would not get any power to your module while the car is running or in "ACC".
Where did you picked up that wire, there could be more then one Red/Black wire under the dash ?
Hope this make sense, others who have done this mod please chip in for your inputs !

Ok so here's the scoop and the answer to your problem...
First I went and downloaded the Webelectric One touch top down instructions, and yes they are using a Red/Black wire but according the the shop diagram they are picking this wire from connector C2280c in the back of the SJB. When looking in details this Red/Black wire from this connector goes the the rear windows, which would make sense since it's probalbly used to power the rear windows when you use this feature.
So thats why it's not working, to test this just try this: Start your car and disregard the status of your TCS, than just press your "One touch top down" yout TCS should then change from ON to OFF or OFF to ON.
Try this and let us know.
