I was at America's Tire today having my wheels rotated and a guy with a 01 Corvette pulled in. I started talking to him and he asked if I could give him a ride while they worked on his car? I'm always happy to talk about my car so I said sure hop in. He had nothing but compliments for the car and then I decided that I probably needed to paint acouple of stripes for him on a nearby side street. Probably the biggest burnout that I have ever done with my car and he had a smile from ear to ear. He that there was no way that his Vette could keep up with my car. Nice to know.

I later went by the spot where I had done the burn out to see how much rubber I had burned off the rears. To my surprise there was only one stripe. Did I not get a locking differiental?

All GTs come with a limited slip diff. Was the traction control off? BTW, a 2001 Vette can run the quarter in the low 13's at 110 mph; it would take quite a few mods to get our GTs to post that trap speed.
