Tokico HP same as D-specs?
Tokico HP same as D-specs?
Hey there, i'm looking to get either the HP's or the D-specs (along with eibach pro) for my car. I would most likely not adjust the shocks, or at least very rarely, so that aspect of the D-specs isn't the deciding factor. With that being said, if i never adjust the D-specs, are they more or less the same system as the HP's? If they are i could save some good money, but if the D-specs are a superior shock and strut quality and performance wise, i'd be inclined to spend the money for them. Thanks all
CR at Tillmanspeed has a great deal on D-Specs. We just put a set in a Vert with the Steeda Sport springs. The car can be set up super-soft (Cadillac like) for long trips and known bumpy streets. You can then set them really aggressive for street use.
We have 3 cars: 1.) Steeda Comp and Stock Shocks and Struts - super stiff, almost not a DD.
2.) Eibach Pro-Kit and Stock Shocks and Struts - great compromise for the $$$.
3.) Steeda Sport and D-Specs - my recommendation to anyone over 25.
If you buy the D-specs you won't be sorry.
If you buy the HPs and ride in a car with D-Specs, no guarantees you won't cry a little!

thanks for the input guys....but let's say i was riding in a mustang with HP's and then i rode in another mustang with D specs set at the stiffness level of roughly the HP's. Could i tell a difference in ride, handling, or any other aspect?
I would think it would feel the same.
