Ok I currently have 235/50R18s on stock Fanblades, what I am looking int is BF Goodrich Drag radials on second set of rear wheels same as above.
Because they are 18" 8.5 rims the only option I see is 245/40R18 which will change a few things among them; diameter, stock are 27.25 inches and the drag radials are 25.71 inches alittle over 1 1/2 inches shorter tire. This equates to almost 46 more revs per mile.
That be close to the same as installing 3.51 with the stock 3.31 or
3.95 if I have 3.73 gears intalled
Would there be any problems with leaving the fronts stock while lowering the rears this much and how odd would this look???
Sorry I took you through my entire chain of thinking

Thats the exact reason why I went with M&H DR's 275/50/17's. I run 255/45/18's on the street, and didn't want to go with a shorter tire in the rear for the track. Here is what they look like, my 18's with 255/45/18's up front and 275/50/17's in the rear. They work perfect with the 4.10's that I have. On the street I run the 255/45/18's on all four corners.

The M&H's work well, my best 60' is 1.647 and I hook with 125 n20 out of the hole at 16 psi tire pressure.

For a NA car (and especially an auto), I would recommend a shorter rear tire for the track. It will help get the mass moving and improve 60' times. I was running a 275/40-17 MT DR for a long time that way... even with 4.10s. It was 26" tall, and my fronts were 27".

Ok What do you think of these in 18X10's w 295/35R18 BFG Drag Radials
and 18X9's w 255/40YR18 BFG KDW2?
These are very light rims almost a total of 50lbs lighter than stock and still both a little over 26" or a little more than an inch shorter than stock
