Would one notice much of a difference in going from 3.55s to 3.73s?

More "Light Em Up" means more wheel hop. lol.

Pick up a set of LCA's and an UCA while you are at it.

This is true... it's definetly a smart move. I'm coming up with different staged packages, so it will be probably in stage 2.

When will you finish making the stages of packages?

Well anyway,I think it should be like this:
Stg. 1- Cai(JLT,C&L,Steeda,Mac,etc.) + X2 + Steeda UDP's

Stg.2- All of Stg. 1 + Gears(3:73's or 4:10's) + Steeda CMDP's +
Opt. Driveshaft(Opt. Safety Loop and or ADJ. UCA)

Stg. 3- Stg. 1, Stg. 2 + LT's(Mac,JBA,ARH,Kooks,etc.)

Stg. 4- Stg. 1,Stg. 2, Stg. 3 + Cams(Crane,Comp,Crower)or Heads
(Stg. 1,2,or 3)

Stg. 5-Supercharger(Saleen Vortech,Whipple,KB,Procharger) + Opt. Pulley Sizes + Opt. Injector Sizes + Opt. Fuel Pumps
(GT500,Ford GT,etc.)+ Opt. Intakes for the Saleen(JLT,Steeda,Mac,C&l)

Additional Packages:

Super N/A Power Package- LT's(Mac,JBA,ARH,Kooks,etc.) + Cams(Crane,Comp,Crower)

Ultimate N/A Power Package- LT's(Mac,JBA,ARH,Kooks,etc,) + Cams(Crane,Comp,Crower) + Heads(Stg. 1,2,or 3)

www.apdperformance.com go to the 05-07 Mustang GT section and look under performance packages. Also look under the driveshaft section for the driveshaft kit.

I am going to be adding these gear kits shortly.

Your stage 2 kit looks really good CR, but ive read that CAI kit is worthless if you plan on goin with a supercharger in the future. Is this true, if so i would skip the CAI and use the 600 for other mods that work with a supercharger.

Tillman I saw your Stg. 1 and 2 Package already, I was just adding suggestions from there. Another addition is in the Stg. 5 Package, the Saleen Supercharger would include your choice of intake.(JLT,C&l,Steeda,Mac)

Well I don't think 3.55's to 3.73's would be nearly as big of a difference as 3.55 to 4.10's, but noticable at least.

For auto's the 3.73 works great, and for manual the 4.10's. That's where you'll notice the biggest difference. We sell the Pro 5.0 3.90's but I don't like the quality.

Question on speed odometer after gear change

I have heard nightmares on getting the speed odometer to read correctly after a gear change, is there a tool or trick to set it correctly? We have 3:55's and would upgrade to 4:10's, we have a manual 07 CS/GT.

Thanks in advance!

I hate to say it but you are in a pickle....to my knowledge you cant update the ford tune, nor buy another tune for that tuner, if they gave you one....you will have to buy another tuner altogether. I would suggest looking into Bamachips, VMP or Brenspeed.

Cali07,

You unfortunately need to purchase an XCal2 or Predator with a custom tune at that point to get recalibrated properly. Additionally, it will make it easier for you to modify down the road. Give me a call, I can gladly help you out.
