Having a stronger clutch is definitely a good thing when you're putting more power down, gotta get rid of any weak spots in the drivetrain. I was chirping 2nd and 3rd gears at the dragstrip with my '02 Ranger with a Spec clutch. That thing hit each gear so hard it was crazy. That was also with a Whipple in it too.

I've definitely found and gotten rid of the weak spots in the drivetrain. I just replaced the differential. $500 for just the diff alone. My opinion...I think the clutch is the first weak spot-good fuse for Ford. The second is the diff. The third-tranny. What kindof power were you putting out of that ranger?

I've been wanting to get the Ford service manual for the 05 myself. Do you have a contact number to get it? Congrat's on the part's, I bet it sound's great! Good luck on your dyno tuning, hope it goes well.

Justin , you can get the shop manual , emmisions manual , etc. from WWW.HelmInc.com. They also have a CD that has all the manuals on it and it's considerably cheaper than buying the actual manuals. I have the manuals , it just my preference ...

I would like to get the shop manual from ford for the 05. I want to be able to see all the inner-working's of our new pony's. Is the book you got from Ford thus the 250 Dollar price tag? I just want the same book the Ford tech's get...
