I was taking to a guy at the local Mustang show this weekend and he was saying he read in a magazine about a software upgrade that will eliminate the factory throttle by wire parameters.
In case some of you don't know, when you approach the rev limiter the throttle backs off before you hit it so you don't "slam" into the rev limiter. You loose some HP as you approch it.
You also have the annoying throttle lag on deceleration, and the odd delay on throttle response under certain driving conditions.
The guy at the show said the software upgrade will make the throttle feel more like a cable, in other words, the butterflies will do exactly what your foot tells them to do.
Any idea what this upgrade is he was talking about? I have not looked in any magazines for a while so I might not be aware of a new product out there.

The only ones I have heard of have been the SCT and Predator tunes referenced many times in the performance sections.
It would be great if a easier and untraceable and less expensive mod came out because of people afraid of messing with their warranties.
