Those wth the Bama chips tune please help

hellooo everyone, Doug just recently sent me the 91 race tune, and i downloaded the Liveload off of sctflash.com

Buttttt..im not sure if im doing it right.

It has your three files...and on the top it has the browse button to find the tune. So i click the tune and its on....I bullet the file i want to write over (89 torque tune) and I press program

But when its done...it still had the 89 torque tune written on the first file...it never changed to 91 race tune

Are you suppose to write it in yourself?

And how am i sure if im actually driving with the RACE tune, and not the 89 tune?

HOpe u guys get what im trying to say I know its alittle long and confusing...let me know thanx everyone

Did he send you an .xtr file or an .ll3 file? If it's an .xtr file, I think you need XtremeTune to load it to the handheld.

Hey guy,

Yes, you have to change the description name in the file yourself. If not then the name will stay the same but the file will be changed. You can only use LLF3 files with LiveLoad so you're good.

Also, if you can't tell the difference in the Race tune and the 89 then something else is broke, ahhhaa.

thanks, Doug.

hahah well the only thing that was worrying me Doug is that on start up, the RPMs are still at 2 grand and go down slowly, they dont go down at the instant of start up. Because i heard that your race tune has that in it...so that got me thiniking that i might be running the 89 tune....

Does anyone know how to adjust A/F ratio using the xcal on a tune you already have?
