I have been looking at midpipes for months now but am worried that i will need to go the custom tuning route, which i am not ready for yet... the main reason is cash right now as i have more pressing issues that require my money... but i could definately scrounge the money needed for a midpipe... so, how did you all tune for your midpipes? could i use my predator?

Lee at C&L said to me that you do not need a tune adjustment if you already have the c&L tune and you get comp cats or x pipes.

I will get a dyno anyway and with A/F info in hand ask Lee for any adjustments needed.

I have the Magnaflow x-pipe with cats and no tune necessary.

Would it matter if they are hi-flow cats vs stock cats.

was gonna go with an x-pipe,..... till I found out that you have to cut the stock H-pipe if you want to keep the stock catalytic converters

If the pipe has cats you 'shouldnt' need a tune.

Again, does this refer to high flow cats or stock cats?
