Thanks Doug At Bama

I feel like a kid in a candy store right now..

I got ahold of Doug today on the phone. I was so shocked, I didnt know what to say at first. lol. I did think his accent was going to be stronger.

Anyway, he sent me an updated tune while talking to him on the phone. There was a setting with the Torque Converter that was still in manage mode or something like that, so with this one, he turned it completely off as he normally does.

So Scott, I shouldnt have to bug the hell out of you for awhile. lol

After speaking with 3 other people today, Doug truly is the king of customer service. Its just hard to reach the king. I didnt get the typical "well see what we can do", or "well pass that on to engineers". It was, let me take care of this for you RIGHT NOW.

Just for heads up he said to mention he will be at SEMA, Wed, Thurs and Fri, with limited access to his laptop.

Also found a few more glitches out on the X3 that is being looked at. New Firmware to these fixes is supposed to be out in a week or so.

Hey Colby,
I hope in some small way I have helped you deal with the issues you have been up against the last couple of weeks. I have not been worth a poop to you as far as technical assistance but hopefully I have provided a little moral support. I also need to get Doug to update my tune because I just bought delete plates from Brenspeed on Saturday. But I am in no hurry this time so when I get back from vacation next week I will send him an email to get my update. Hope you get your issues fixed up very soon!!
Scott

Thank you Colby. Glad I helped a little. That is what the forum is about.
