I am heading up to Moroso in West Palm this evening and hoping to find a couple other '05s up there (169stang). Seem to be cooler than lately -still around 90 but hoping to dip into the 12's. Ill post the results when I get back. Jan

There are several shops that will tune w/ either Diablo or SCT in south FL. When you go to the track ask around, who goes where, and what they have done, and do they recommend the shop. Just to name a few: Steeda, Blow-by-Racing, Thunder Auto Sports, Oakes Smokin' Racing, Mustang Specialties. There are many more. I had my work done at Oakes. Hope this helps you out.

What's up Jan...I didn't go. My buddies did and were beating on me to go. I'm taking the car to Kentucky next week and want to make sure I'm ready so I don't have to rush next week. Tonight, I changed the spark plugs and installed a BMR K-member. I also was getting some new tires mounted. I'm going to try to get up there Friday-with good weather. You need to give a brother a phone call or something. You pop up on here like once every 4 months and don't go to the track. The night I don't go, you do go. What's up with that?

haha sorry dave-the chances of me having work off and not raining on a track night is like one in a million. I am going to try to get up there more often since the new tranny is in and its shifting great. As for last night....IT SUCKED!!! no track prep whatsoever and all my runs sucked even though I was pulling low 1.8 60 ft's all night. either something is really wrong with my car or the clocks up there are messed up. let me explain- the last time i went in june was much hotter and I was running 1.9 60's and running between 13.0 and 13.2 @ 105. last night my best was 1.82 60 and 13.3 @ 100????? A couple passes even showed a 98 mph trap!! I just dont think its possible to fall off that much with everything the same on the car with the exception of ET street this time and NItto DR's last time. I was even powershifting 1-2 this time bc the tranny would allow it where before it would just grind. both tires are 26/11.50-17 btw. Didnt seem slow and I had 11 runs and beat everything I went against (SRT-4's, GTO's, RX-7.....) I let it cool down for 2 of the runs and got the same et but trapped 102. Anyone have any insight on this bc it would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Jan

First off, look at the track. It's the national oil slick track. If you can hook up good at Moroso, you'll run a tenth or two better anywhere else. The humidity is horrible right now as well as the temp. I've always run better after letting the car cool down. When I do back to back runs, it runs a 100th to a 10th slower each pass. I will be going out there tomorrow-fingers crossed!

I might see you up there tomorrow dave depending on what time I get out of work. I ordered the zex kit today as well bc im sick of messing around in the 13's. so with the addition of the spray and the 4.10's 11's are possible. I hope I can make it up there. btw I hooked decent the other night which is hard at moroso but it just felt like I lost alot of power, I was only going through the traps at around 6000-6200 in 3rd instead of being in 4th as normal. I don't know if this helps or not but I have found the 05 GT to be super sensative to temperatures. I have done testing where my car was .4 slower when it was warm and humid out compared to when it was cool and dry (same mods). Compared to all the other cars I have owned, I can definately feel a difference with 05 when the weather changes. Anyone else notice this?

It was pretty simple. I really haven't driven it too much since though. I have some other horrible issues with the car.
