Taking Sheila in for the front strut-mouont TSB tomorrow...
Should I return engine to stock? Or just tell them to leave it the frog alone? What's the XCal2 procedure to chek the calibration code, you know, to verufy they haven't "updated it" to where it will lock the PCM?
All it is, is reinstalling the stock airbox/tune, and remove air/oil separator (it's mounted on the CAI shroud)

Never tell on yourself...so I do re-install the stocker, right?
"Sheila" is my wife-endorsed mistress, that gorgeous piece of American muscle sitting in my garage.....
I agree. I'll just re-install the stocker, and check the code with the Xcal when I get her back...before reloading my tune.

I wouln't worry about it a bit. Nobody is going to care you have a CAI on, about 50% of GT's are modified. The only time a dealer worries about a modification is if Ford isn't going to pay a warranty claim because of it that could be directly related to the mod. Not to many CAI's cause strut tower caps to slop around. Other then that the primary goal of a service department is to repair as many things as possible. A lot of people act like the dealer pays for the repairs.
