with the ATI kit, no hacking required, could take it off quick and never know it was installed, vortech and paxton on the other hand modify the OE parts
Hey,

that sounds like a big plus. The ATI is from ProCharger, right?

Link: http://www.blowbyracing.com/

If you have any Q's, call and talk to Chris.

I paid $4595 + $100 for the Steel Tube rather than the palstic that goes into the fender.

i called x2c yesterday, check the link for there complete kit price! when i talked to them they said they will dicount the price even more cause procharger wont sell it with the predator until the tune gets ironed out. i got the impression the kit was going to cost about$4k complete less the tuner and tune. just an fyi for anyone that wants to save some money, especially if your going to get a custome tune anyways!

That is correct.... you can save some money and get it as a tuner kit. I feel that custom tuning is required on EVERY car. Just look how different even a stock car is verses a stock car. That is why they are so damned slow stock. They have to make a calibration that is safe for the Monday cars as well as the Wednesday cars. If you decide to save yourself the money on the predator plan on 500 bucks to tune it and about 300 for injectors.

2005RedGT- I see you ordered the Procharger good luck with it. Where is Lake Jackson at? I'm in Texas also and if you were close I thought we might meet up sometime. I'd like to see how the kit does on your car being a auto owner myself

Thanks Mike

Bryan,

Let us know how that ProCharger works out for you! Your reviews have been about the most detailed I have ever seen, so I'm looking forward to seeing your write-up.

Beautiful! Again, the usual questions:

What did you pay?
How difficult was the installation?
Did you install yourself?
Was the kit complete?
What kind of mods to your remaining stock equipment did you do (i.e. punch a hole in the oil pan, etc.)?

So, the BIG question: How's the performance? :worship:

As with everything done to my car,it was done by Lidio and his excellent staff at Alternative Auto. From what i know of the installation,a bracket had to be slightly modified, the power steering had to be relocated, and the sleeve the fuel pump sits in had to be modified because the new pump didnt fit right in.This kit had everything, including a diablo programmer that i didnt need. The only thing i didnt like is the plastic inlet tubes.Lidio loaded the supplied tune with the diablo and got 408hp but he didnt like how lean it got at the end of the pull. The original plan was to give it to me for the weekend with the supplied tune and bring it back next week and create an sct tune for my car;but he decided to do it before he gave it to me friday. The peak is still around the same numbers 400-410,but he fixed the air fuel ratio and was able to get a better power curve, picking up as much as 30-40hp in some rpms. Now this is gonna bring me back to all this poo about dyno number comparison, dyno's,conditions, and other things differ from dyno to dyno, the only reason i put them here is so you can see how much it improved for me.Stock my car was around 260-265,after the sct performance tune,hi-flo cats,3 chamber flomasters, charge motion plate delete,C&L air kit,4:10 gear-i got a best of 293.The kit ended up making 10 pounds of boost.Theres still a few things to be worked out in the tune, but thats the benefits of having a good tuner who is willing to work with you,as opposed to a mail order tune.If you live near the Detroit,Mi.area i suggest you look him up.
