Supercharged Mustangs---Racing vid

Well me and a couple of my friends went to Irwindale 1/8th mile last night---

I ran a 6.81, 6.82, 6.85 all at about 100 mph
Ken ran a 6.81 also, 6.83

But Dean was the hero with a 6.59 @ 103 mph.

Here is a video I put together, its has in car video (from my car), outside video, pics, etc. and a tribute to my friend Dean at the end......

Nice meeting you last night. I knew you were busy and didn't want to bother you too much. Hopefully I will be able to get out there soon myself.

I took some shots of the race that I did happen to catch. They turned out pretty good for the low light

Nice meeting you to HABU. Those are some pretty good pics to.

Also, yes all three cars have built bottom ends. JE pistons, Scat H beam rods, cobra crank.

Would you be willing to share the total price that you had the bottom end done for (Parts and Labor)? If not, I understand...I was just kind of curious!

PS: Adam does great work!

Totally offtopic, but what is the difference in the H.O. kit and the Regular Whipple. Is there any internal differences or cooling componets besides fuel upgrades that that HO kit has? Or is it Pully/Tune changes?

HO Whipple includes an intercooler which allows you to run more boost.

Okay so it is just the intercooler...I was kinda curious if there was any difference in the impellers or internals of the blowers themselves

Yeah, really can't say because it depends on what you go with.

Definitely go with the HO kit if your going to pull the trigger on whipple. Also, no matter what you decide with regards to the crank, block---get the best rods and pistons you can get. JE, CP, Diamond pistons are all good, Manley, Scat are good rods. Forged cobra crank if your going to crank the boost. The block, however, should be fine as plenty of people out there have made alot of power with the stock aluminum 3V block.
