It really comes down to personal preference and what you want to spend as everyone (including myself), will recommend the one they are running. You can't go wrong with any of the major brands including Saleen, Vortec/Pro-charger, Edelbrock, Kenne Bell, etc.

So as another point of reference, here's the E-force

EDITED

Whipple, Edelbrock, Kenne Bell for instant torque and screaming at WOT.
Procharger or Vortech for not so instant torque but good HP.

Procharger loud at idle.

The Whipple is almost stock quiet until you get on her.. and I've never even heard of a quiet Procharger.

Not as well known as some of the other brands , but I like my MagaCharger. Last dyno tune I got 460 RWHP / 440 RWTQ running a 3.0" pulley at 8.5 - 9.0 psi depending on air temp ...

Quite? I don't think so... I have a Procharger and that thing is loud as hell.
My car is very torquey also.

Here's a video of it just sitting while we were getting ready to take her to the paint and body shop

Everyone will plug the blower they own, but the truth is that all the blower kits on the market are great. All can be dialed up to make more power than the stock short block can handle.

For my 07 GT & my limited budget, I went with a basic Vortech V2 S-trim (non-intercooled) - satin finish instead of polished. With just 4.10 gears, stall converter, and drag radials, it went 11.79 @ 114 in the 1/4 mile.....

I mean the famous banshee scream. That is much louder than any other sc imo.
And yes at idle they are quiet. But you will always have the scream at wot. And if it was supercharged why wouldnt you wanna open it up. Lol
And the procharger just sounds like **** until its opened up.
As far as torque, roots and twin screw have ZERO build up. Everything is instant, therefore better for street car applications. Procharger will produce the bulk of their power above 2500 rpm.

Here's ANOTHER video of my husband driving it down the street ... It sounds like a jet. I'm not sure what the **** you're talking about. "bulk of their power above 2500 rpm? My car will spin its tires in almost every gear.
"And the procharger just sounds like **** until its opened up." I love it.
" if it was supercharged why wouldnt you wanna open it up. Lol" are you saying my car isn't Procharged?
