stock replacement air filter

which one is best?
fram
stp
ford
any suggestions? Just looking to replace the stock filter.
I did do a search and I did see that in 05 they were 32 bucks a piece. Much better on the price now around 9$ for the stp. filter

Hey Glenn,
I have an S&B filter (looks like a K&N) that I will send to you at "no charge" if you pay the shipping. It came with my CDC shaker!! It fits the stock airbox. Let me know!!!!

Why thank-you! Do you have a paypal address? If so pm it to me and I'll send some cash your way.
How does the s&b compare to the stp or fram air filters?
Does any one else have info or seen any testing on any of these air filters?

PM sent. And I don't know the answer to your questions about the STP or Fram filters. Too me you can't tell the difference between the K&N and the S&B. Look the same.

Fram is crap, avoid it if you can. I'm mostly speaking about oil filters but I'm lazy so I'll just generalize. I read a very informative thread on the forum for my old car (MonteCarloCity.net) but it was lost when their server crashed a year and a half ago. They had an email from one of the employees themselves saying don't buy their inferior product.

Filters

Yes, FRAM oil filters ARE crap, but I never read anything bad about their air filters. Amsoil has what looks to be an excellent air filter - oil filters too.
