Question Stock Part Disposition after Upgrade???

What are people doing with their stock parts after they upgrade? I installed a set of FRPP GTA's Last night and still have the stock axlebacks. Has anyone sold these? Do junkyards buy them from people? Does anyone want to buy set off me??? HA!

Oh, I'm going to have a set of springs/shocks, 18"Fan Blades with 235/50/18s all partially used with about 6000 miles on all of them soon.

Most people keep them for situations such as warranty, etc. Otherwise 1 word... Ebay.

With the exception of tires/wheels and gears, all my OEM parts (shifter, springs, panhard bar, LCA, mufflers, intake tract/air box, grille) are in the attic collecting dust

Absolutely. They are skattered randomly throughout my garage, until I get my loft done.
At least I don't save the newspapers everyday.

I still have tires from my long gone '74 Olds Omega in my garage and the stock steering wheel from my '90 Chevy Cavalier Z24 in the basement!

I have all my stock parts from my Stang in the basement. Maybe someday I'll build a Frankencar! LOL!

I have sold most of my parts. I still have a stock spoiler, hood, mufflers and intake if anybody needs them.

Sounds like a Johnny Cash song "one piece at a time"

Personally, I still have all my old parts stashed in my garage, however, i will be selling my wheels once I upgrade them.

Go to the for sale and wanted to buy section of the forum. Guys with V6's are always buying the GT mufflers to convert their V6 single exhaust to duals. I sold my stock H-Pipe cut out and GT mufflers there for $100. I think someone on there now is asking for a set.

I also still have all my stock parts... but I have no idea why. There is zero chance my car will ever return to stock form... it's too far gone.

One thing I might add. Hang onto your stock cats if you've removed them. Those puppies are frikkin expensive if you ever need to replace them (or reinstall them). Don't quote me, but I think I've heard they are something like $1800 from the dealer.
