I would have an allignment done anytime springs are installed. Even with a slight drop, you still might have a big toe, or a toe nail, wait, toe IN, yeah, that's it.

Having said that, I still haven't had an allignment done, but I'm going to just to be sure.

My rear was centered. I may allign just to be on the safe side though. I know most with the prokit have had really no choice but to.

I heard even if u jsut install the roush springs in the rear that u will sit lower in the back by atad. Anyways, the steedas are a good choice. Least u have the option if u only want to do the rear for now to eventually do the front.

That's a good question..... I had the Roush rears on my list for 6 months now, but the decision to buy the Steedas was based soley on cost. The Roush rears are around $130 delivered, while the Steeda kit is $209 delivered, so I figured for the extra $80 I'd be able to lower the front too if I wanted down the road.

Thanks,

Tom

I have steeda ultralites on the rear only. The fronts are still in the box. I may or may not do the fronts in a few weeks when I replace all the shocks. The rear is either level or still just a bit higher. I am pleased with the way it is now.

If you do the springs yourself, you can do the rear first and try it out and see how you like it before doing the fronts without wasting money on extra labor.

I did the Roush rears only. It sits level or a hair lower in back. I'm definitely going to do the fronts, too. I either will get Roush fronts or a set of Ultralites and sell my Roush rears.

My rear only Ultralites make the rear sit about an 1/8 of an inch lower. you are lucky

So I can get away with not doing struts/shocks with these springs? I'm going mainly for appearance, so if that is the case I'll be ordering these myself this weekend.

No struts/shocks needed..... just replace the springs if that's all you're after.

That's no fair Bill....... I'm already having my CDC classic touched up next week, from hitting something last fall. I still don't know what I hit, but I know it was from parking somewhere (didn't hit anything on the hiway).

Putting the spoiler one inch closer to the ground will have me backing into parking spots everywhere I go LOL!

I got tired just from reading that!

Looks like you're trying to get the car ready to go on a date!

Me too Bill. That's a very aggressive time table. I had to sit down and drink a beer after reading that. I was all tuckered out. Sounds like the UPS driver could ruin those plans in a second. Good luck Tom!!!!

Well what a difference a few hours make..... the tires made it, and I'll have those on by Saturday afternoon.

The Ultralite springs are NOT on the way... called Brenspeed and they've been on backorder for 3 weeks. Brent says he's been told that they're on the way to them, but I def won't have them tomorrow.
