First we would like to apologize for the uproar that seems to be going around about this. We realize price is always a factor in a customer's buying decision. With that said...

Although we do make some parts for Ford and Ford Racing, these charge motion plates were not one of them.

Originally we planned on offering them for the same price as FRPP's, however final landed cost turned out to be higher than expected, hence we were forced to change the final pricing.

We are not out to gouge anybody. We price our parts as best as we possibly can based on materials costs.

There is additional confusion about our press release regarding our relocation to a new 100,000+ square foot, 25 acre facility in Valdosta, Georgia.

We wanted to assure everyone out there that our Florida facility is not going anywhere. We have revised the press release which you can check out here: http://www.steeda.net/newsletter/03-21-07_valdosta/

We apologize for all the confusion between these 2 issues and thank everyone for their business and support.
I tell you what GUS this time you have really crapped in your cap. We are **** angry about this. You people have had an arrogant attitude for years and have charged whatever you feel the traffic would bare.
I for one will never ever purchase a product with the Steeda name on it as long as this price stands. I invite others to join up in this.
These messages here are going around the world almost at the speed of light. Its time for you to straighten up your crap or you could have the blackest ball in the world. No more BS from you with all the cost etc.

+1 How is it that FRRP could sell the exact same product for $99?

Some of us need to take it easy and calm down. Life is to be enjoyed not for getting mad about stuff we can't change. If you're not happy go elsewhere. The rest of us don't need this negative stuff.

I agree. If you want a cheaper set find someone who is selling it. If you don't want to buy Steeda parts that's your beef. Personal attacks are not needed or wanted on these forums. We are here as enthusiasts who want to enjoy our cars, not dwell in anger.

Maybe that is why they stopped selling them.

I agree, let's all relax about this. This isn't Gus' doing specifically. I understand how markup works, and from the looks of Steedas new building (you lucky-yet-deserving bastards ) they have alot of overhead.

I don't think by and means they're making a killing on the plates, but they're doing well for themselves, and they were smart enough to patent it.

It's a chess game, and right now they have CMCV plates in check mate. Kudos, financially smart move.

Did anyone expect anything different from STEEDA? I don't have anything of theirs on my car for a reason!

No.

Still, it's not a personal attack, it's basically adovcating a boycot of Steeda. Not personal if it's against a whole company.

I was heated at first. I have how many sold that now aren't available? But I guess at this point, I'm over it. We'll either refund the customers money, or credit them towards something else (like the economy).

I'm not advocating a boycot for Steeda, as we sell alot of their parts, but I'm upset at nobody telling exactly what happened. Neither Steeda nor Ford Racing can tell me why one of the most popular parts we sold have been shifted around and repriced.

I understand things happen, I just want to know the reasoning.

Hey Cr... I'll be calling you either later today or tomorrow to see what we do. Either apply the $$$ to the "steeda" set or maybe I'll just use that to either get the C&L racer CAI or the GTA mufflers.
