Anyone have one of these? If so, just wondering about the Pro's and Con's... likes and dislikes, etc.

Thanks!!!

Have the Steeda "Cheapie Bar" (Cough/Cough) which did fit around the engine cover. IMO it did tighten the front end up a little since I do alot of winding road driving. Would think the beefier bars available would show a signficant difference

Reduce body flex in an area esp susceptible to it.

I installed a brace as one of my first mods. If your inclined to push your car into the corners when you meet them, they are a cheap investment.

I've got the "more economical" version also ( didn't want to say "cheaper" )

Well I went with are ford parts guy stangkc05. I definitely feel a little tighter around turns etc. Just a general tighter feel. I highly recommend the ford racing strut tower brace. Good luck

I agree! I would rather have it say "Ford Racing" than Steeda.

I have the Steeda one, and had it painted yellow. I think it really finishes off the engine.

Same here, got the Ford Racing strut tower brace through our TMS parts guy KC. Highly recommend.

I wouldn't say money is not an object, but I'm willing to spend a little more to get the better product. (better = the one that stiffens the front end more)

Well, without a side-by-side comparison....

I went with the black two bar brace... I don't see how it could perform *worse* that the billet one...

Went with the Steeda billet. IMO it looks alot better. It fits perfectly over my plenum cover, attatches on all 4 point on the strut tower. and is adjustable. I also painted a victory flag pattern on it for a personal touch
