Started Vortech Installation.
Left hand drive. They don't make Mustangs right hand drive. As far as I know anyways
Running some of the plumbing for the aftercooler tonight. Hopefully have a few pics up of it later.
And as I stated before the Vortech directions suck hiney. Well, I'm sure it doesn't help that I've never done this before either but...

Subject: Fuel Injectors
Recently purchased a Vortech supercharger with
aftercooler. The part number for the injectors are
different than on the inventory list. The fuel
injectors I received are Ford Racing Performance
Parts.
Part# M-3593-F302, there 42# injectors. Will these
still work?

How do you order a $5,000 kit and get incorrect parts??
This project is way more than I'd attempt. Once I saw the front end of the car off, it was all over for me.

Human error?
I should have noticed it earlier. Which I did, but didn't give all the information. It's sorted now. I can complete the rest of install and once the injectors arrive finish it.
Here's a pic of the plumbing.
It doesnt appear so by your pics, but you dont have to relocate the battery to the trunk with this aftercooled kit do you?
Looking good so far. I'm just curious, what's the reason for removing the intake? Saw them do that on the Overhaulin' when they did the '05, but I didn't catch it if they said why. Is if for clearance while doing other things, for the aftercooler, or something else?
Thanks for posting the install and pics!

The battery does not have to be relocated with either of the Vortech Kits. The water resevoir is located on the driver side of the bumper support beam, (reason for having to remove the bumper cover). The aftercooler has a fill tank located next to the battery, which which allows you to fill the system with water without having to pull the bumper.

The reason for removing the intake is to perform the coolant crossover tube relocation, (picture of this in post #53)
Here's a few more pics. Still waiting on the proper injectors. And still need to do the fuel pump upgrade and run a few more hoses and tighten everything down. Don't have much lighting in my garage. Bit of a pain to work in it at night after work. Hoping to have the injectors by this weekend so I can finish it.
Been fun so far, and not near as bad as I thought it would be.

Have to remove the intake so you can modify the coolant crossover tube.
