I'd be there for sure if I didn't have to work.
My dad told Randy (general sales manager) he would bring his 63 1/2 Galaxie to the show but he forgot he would be fishing up north.

Unbelievable

Everyone of your guys have show winning rides. Man, the public is going to miss one heck of a display.

Well heck.........come on up, walk around, shop some of the vendors and bring a camera. Their will be some pretty old cherried out Mustangs there.

I'm going to be defending my title from last year. 2nd place class winner.

Which means my car was the 1st loser.

See ya there.

Well I made it up there , but not till 12:15, so they werent letting any more cars register. So I just hung out for a little and opened up my hood and trunk on the side anyway. Got a lot of lookers etc, I sure wish I had those louvers in. I may break down and do them myself. A lot of nice mustangs. Roush Stage 3's, gt500 with kenne belle's sc on them. Of course the ford gt was nice, LOL. It was a nice day then it went black so I blazed out of there before the big rain. I have a few pics, not too many I will post them later. There was a nice cai heat shield there. That looked to be frpp, it had the carb sticker on it. Stainless etc, looked decent. Does anyone know if they are selling that cai cover or does it only come with the kit etc? I guess Ill give kc a holler about that. All in all a lot of nice cars, just turned into a rainy spot quickly.

P.S. The best thing that happened was I saw an flyer on peoples windows that had vinyl stripes, it was for a place called custom auto works. He has been in the business of painting for 20 years etc, has a little booth there with lots of pics etc. Very nice guy, well heres the catch he paints stripes for 450 bucks. Woohoo. Now I can get rid of these ugly vinyl stripes that are deteriorating quickly. I paid more than that to have them installed. I wish I would have known about this a while ago, I was quoted like 1200 bucks froms some. He is also going to fix my bumper scratches I got parking it one day. Really nice guy, swears I will be happy with them, explained the whole process etc. So In a few weeks my baby will have some real stripes. Oh yah he is even going to come pick it up on a flat bed and drop it back off. Cant wait.

That is CHEAP for some paint work!! Nice find! Maybe you could post up his contact info for any other St. Louis area members that would be interested in some stripes.

Sorry I missed you guys.

I was in EE 2005 - 07 Modified. Came in 2nd place again (or 1st loser)

Maybe next year I'll have the Saleen (heat extractor) hood installed. Lotta money for a painted hood (approx. $1300)

Or, I might get with Silver Horse Racing and throw a few ideas their way for add-on heat extractor vents for my existing hood. Dont Know

Sodaman. Saw the GT's with the painted strips. They did look good and ya cant beat the price.

Had a great time. The Hooter girls looked like Hooter kids. The rains came and went. All in all a good day.

Any of you guys going to the McDonnel Park car show? Last year was pretty cool. Hotter than blazes though.
