Blow-By Racing 05 Mustang GT 3V Race Cams - This video may have been posted before. I really love the sound of this car! I'm guessing they have their BBR off road x-pipe with the side exhaust. This thing sounds tough.

That's not the exhaust, it's the camshafts. Sure they've got some sort of exhaust on it, but that thing would sound most awesome with a stock exhaust. Reliability of that specific setup has come into question however. Listen when they pop the hood, ouch.

I thought that tick was from metal lifters which I remember reading somewhere they have since designed that out so it doesn't make that sound anymore.

Hey guys, I live 10 mins away from blow by racing and went over their today. The guy ther started this car up for me and wow. It idled really nicely and sounded great. As for my car he tried to sell me new engine mounts and told me that I would pick up 7 rwhp with them. But that car realy sounded great. I want cams!

just to clarify... b/c I know there is going to be some smart hiney out there thats going to say... you can't gain horsepower from motor mounts...

There is so much power deflection and drivetrain lose b/c of how crappy these factory motor mounts are. All the BBR motor mounts do is help eliminate the drivetrain lose. So you actaully see up to 7 RWHP from these that you didn't see before b/c it was lost from engine to tire.

great investment and I would recommend doing them when you do lets say an X-pipe or headers, or front suspension... it's a simple job and worth the money.

Im sorry JohnnyZ but you need to $%&#ing get off the internet you know nothing pig. You will not gain any increase in performance changing out motormounts, I should know. The stock motor mounts are sufficient enough for gobbs of torque without excess deflection.

BBR is a joke and so are you (your investment in the company). Keep you day job sliding down that pole!

My views of JR and Granatelli Motorsports is no different than that of you and BBR so nice try there.

Hey, I've got a few stickers under my hood, that should be good for atleast 2 rwhp.

Ok this thread was about how good some cams sound not someone's credibility. Lets not do this here. Take it to PM's. The cams sound great. I want some. Not sure from where but definitely want my car to sound like that.

So do you guys have an updated vidoe of the cams minus the ticking? If so I'd love to see/hear it.

ya back to the cams, I like the lump but the actual exhaust tone sounds too popy to me.... I think it would sound much better if it were a deeper tone.... I'm guessing that can be fixed with a better exhaust system though?

reasoning for that was the full exhaust wasn't on the car in the original video. you'll hear it tonight.
