Yup... more than a full second behind me! When I pulled into the staging lanes, I heard the blower whine coming from it and I thought "Uh-oh"... but it turned out to be no contest at all.

NICE Don! Man did that Cobra just spin at the line? Was he asleep?? Or both??!!!

Way to spank him......

So no line locks yet - you are just brake standing for your burnouts with the DRs?
Are you in a specific gear?

Car sounds STRONG!

Thanks. And I'd love to run up against a Shelby at the track... after I get my blower installed of course! hehe

The Cobra had street tires, so maybe it spun... I wasn't there to see it personally. haha. His 60' time was very bad. So was the reaction time. So yea, probably both.

And no, I haven't got my line locks yet. I do my burnouts with the tranny in 2nd gear. I have a pretty good feel now for doing burnouts by braking... my wife still hasn't mastered it yet. LOL But she's getting there.

Gotcha dude - yeah you have that brake stand burnout DOWN. Perfectly done - and like I said, sounds sweet!

Might have to find SOME way of scraping a few bucks together for some drag radials before Fun Ford in Orlando in March....

(and i have my eyes on you bro - with the price increase on the Saleen, my interest in the KB SC has gone way up again - you might be the template for my future project.... )

Dave... get the DRs... you won't regret it!!

And you can bet I'll be providing some details on the KB when the time comes.

Sweet, brutha - I'll be waitin'!!

Here's the kooky thing though - now I have TWO viruses in my system - the SC one was back about a week ago.... but since the unveiling and seeing the WHITE GT500 with the blue stripes......

I am actually trying to consider if I could sell my ride (and part of my soul probably too) to get enough to buy a GT500 (and if I could get one lined up to purchase in the first place)

 :bang:

It never ends......

I couldn't do it... no way. :nono: The more I mod the car, the more personal it gets. It's not just mine... it is me. I'll never get rid of this car.

LOL.. yea, she is my personal cheering section.

But it's better to have that enthusiasm than some of the grief other guy's wives give them about adding new toys to their car and wanting to go faster. I'm pretty lucky to have a wife that loves drag racing "almost" as much as I do.
