SLP's Are ON!!!!!

I've officially been "LOUD MOUTH'D". Thanks to rakkassan34 for selling me his kit. I couldnt be happier. I originally had the flowmasters on my car and I was settled with them, after a while I just grew old of them, wanted something louder. Well I heard you SLP'rs were going on about the sound of the SLP Loud Mouths and how great they sounded and I wanted to wait and see about hearing them in person. Went to a cruise night in PA a few weeks back and met a guy there with them on and literally creamed myself when he rev'd the car! HOLY S**T!!! THEY SOUND FRIGGEN AWESOME! I was sold!

Put the kit on 2 days ago and the sound is amazing, My mom Hates how loud they are, my Dad LOVES IT!! They are LOUD! He spent a minute in the reving my car in the driveway the day i installed them, with a nice smile on his face, at the same time was ****ing off my mom, LOL He told me I should of bought them in the first place. My neighbors, well...., screw them who cares! LOL

SLPs are the best!! Also I think I noticed a power increase with these when I floored it, hmmmm......

Seriously though...

I'm considering them myself.

Did you get the entire slp setup or just the axleback?

the power increase is in your head haha. the SLP's lose a little low end torque as proven by dyno's. no gains at all but man they sure do sound great. i used to have them but with an off road H pipe it was insanely loud so i switched to the FRPP stingers.

I think mine are way loud with the O/R H and FRPP Stingers, can't imagine what they'll sound like with the LM! Like my cold start (pre O2 warming) all the time?

with the off road H? way louder. haha. too loud. with the off road H, the stingers sound better than the SLPs..... the SLPs are too over the top with the o/r.

I like the SLP's also. The sound is awesome, I am glad we decided to get them. When we were thinking about changing our exhaust, there were not many Stangs with different exhausts to listen too. It was tuff to make a choice. Congrats on your choice.

How much torque would you lose w/the SLP LM? Is there any gain elsewhere in the top end?I have not seen a dyno chart on the LM does anyone have one? Thanks

Another highly satisfied SLP Loudmouth owner here too! I have yet to hear any other mustang or muscle car that sounds as good as a new GT with this exhaust on it. I love driving my mustang everyday and listening to the awesome roar. It turns heads wherever I go! It is loud but, it is definitely a good loud. A bad loud would be any 4 cyclinder car with a fart can attached to the back. I swear it feels like my mustang has more low end torque too.

I had SLP Loudmouth on for a while until my other loud mouth (my wife) told me they were too loud and I had to sell them

I believe somebody on these forums purchased it from me.

I didn't feel any power differance, for better or worse. But I think the sound has a placebo effect, my buddy swears the car feels faster with them.

I also noticed a reduction in people messing with me on the road. I guess it sounds more intimidating. They will get you noticed though

No one should have a quiet Mustang GT. It's a sports car and I want it to sound and feel like one when I gun the throttle!

I like to say "I don't only like to feel the power, I like to hear it"

I had mine before I had my car. I love them, has anyone put on the x pipe with them yet? I'm thinking about it but want to know what the sound change is......
