SLP resonators with Borla Stingers
Hello,
Did any one try that setup?
Did that remove the drone at 1800-2000RPM that comes after installing Borla Stingers and other exhaust stock components?
If nobody try it - what you think - will the SLP resonators help to remove the drone from Borla Stingers?

i would think that it would make your exhaust too quiet. what i did was dynamat the whole trunk and under the rear seats. that has taken care of most of the drone.

hahaa great advice Rich!
seabiscuit, the reason why I asked which midpipe is because I'm running an offroad H pipe with 18" resonators and Borla muffers. I added the resonators to take care of 2500 resonation that is normally referred to here as trumpeting. The resonators eliminated the trumpeting, and pretty much all droning too.
But, they also reduced quite a bit of volume from my system; like sound wave said, your system will be much quieter, you may/may not be happy about that.

I think that will quiet the exhaust which will lower the drone level but I think the overall volume will be a lot lower. Its almost like having two mufflers...

Ok thanks guys for your opinions.
I was just thinking that resonators are to calm down the system resonation which starts for example with Borla Stingers at 1900rpm what makes that loud drone and by using those resonators I could remove that .

100% no dice!! I had this setup and there was still drone. Drone was only slightly quieter, and even a prochamber didn't help. It was a long and frustrating process, but the only answers to drone are 1. Corsas ($600), 2. FRPP GTA ($250), 3. Deal with it ($0).
Drone sucks!
Drone sucks!
