I've searched high and low, and can't find any sound clips of the Loudmouth II's. Does anyone have a clip. or even describe/compare the sound of the II's with other axle backs? I've decided the Loudmouth I's are too raspy and loud for my taste, but I still want a muscle sound that's aggressive. I'm leaning toward the Flowmaster American Thunder (for 2005 GT), but I'd love to hear the Loudmouth II's or hear how they compare to the American Thunder. Thanks in advance!

This is the 1st I've heard of them if they are available. Do you have any more info on the IIs?

I sent SLP an email a while back asking them for info on the SLP II's. They simply replied "We are currently not making them for your application" and that was it. Thanks for all the info SLP.

What's confusing is that on other forums I've read references to Loudmouth II's on Mustangs, but just sketchy descriptions saying they have some insulation and are lower in pitch and less raspy than the I's. I found one sound clip for the II's on a stang, but my computer couldn't play it for me. I PM'd the Poster but didn't get a response. Anyone have any other info on the II's?????

It might not be a 2005 Mustang. I found the IIs on SLP's site, but the listing for the 05 only has the Is and Power-Flo's. I think you found older stangs with IIs on them.

The LM IIs were on the older model stangs when the Loudmouths still had resonators.... they were slightly quieter resonators than the Is. On our cars, there are no resonators, just straight pipe, and thats the ONLY loudmouth on an 05.

Thanks for clarifying, Jordan. By the way, I like the sound of the I's on your '05, I just think my neighbors would start a petition if I had them in our particular neighborhood.
