The loud mouth do not have mufflers per-say they do have resonators though. They are not simply strait pipes.

I got an email from SLP a while back and they have no muffler or resonator or anything like that ....

Pony Xpress.... I am not into fabbing up my own stuff like you are... Some people just want to buy great working, quality products and just throw them on and not wory about all of these small little hassles to save a few bucks like you did.

From the clip I heard of the SLP it doesn't sound like my car. My car sounds very deep in tone. Listen to my clip & compare. As far as getting quality products & saving time it can be done, but there is also a lot of junk out there.

PONY XPRESS, since I first saw your clip a while back, and talked to subzero05 about the one banks made for him, I have been toying with the idea of doing what you guys did. But in the end, I think I am going to go for the SLP, mainly because of the way it looks, but also, if I do get pulled over, I don't want to say its a custom muffler job.

My car with the SLP sounds a bit different then the clip. It might be the recording device. It's a little deeper and doesn't sound like that under throttle. It's smoother and doesn't gurgle and choke like heard in the clip.
There are no mufflers or resonators in the kit. I ordered from LMPerformance and received it 2 days after ordering. I definitely recommend them. If anybody needs install help let me know. It can be done in about an hour.

Funny you mention the police. I was in NJ this week & went through a check point. I don't run a front plate & have no stickers on the window as CT is just starting up their emissions testing. So I was expecting "what's up?"
Young officer, all he said is, "Is this a GT". I said you "better believe it". He said "it sounds great, you have to give me a little". I said "I can give you all you want"
He said "not too much as my boss is in the parking lot writing the tickets"
I said "ciao" & gave him a mild burn out with a big grin on his face.

IMO, for those who do not have the luxury of working for an exhaust company like me or who want to get something made up from an exhaust shop like PONY, then the SLP kit is the way to go for the "muffler delete" exhaust option. That does sound good!..

heh, nice break. Somehow I don't think I will be so lucky. First of all this is california, so there are A LOT of 2005 GTs driving around. Second, mine is torch red, and I plan on a "slightly" illegal tint..... just trying not to attract too much negative attention.

Man that sound's good. The 2nd clip of the slp loudmouth's sounds a lot better than the 1st. It is a lot less tingyer, if that makes any sense.
One question though, what about loss of backpressure?
Are you guys with the muffler delete's loosing power or torque at all?
Ncik
