Clamped on. This actually makes it easier to adjust fore, aft, left and right positioning. Probably saves them money too.
I still don't have sound clips.

I had mine installed last week. I don't have a digital camera, but my brother took a couple of pics after he installed them. I called and interrupted his GTO gathering and asked him to send them to me, so maybe later this afternoon I can post a pic.

i do not have anything to record it with otherwise i would. just know that if your looking for a loud and awesome sound this is what you want. i have no regrets about buying this system.

I'd share pics but my brother hasn't sent them to me yet :notnice: and I'd share clips if I had them.
I can tell you that I can hear my car from a mile away, literally. Over the weekend he took my car to town and I was in the front yard when I heard this "noise" in the distance. I looked down the road and couldn't see anyone coming so I dismissed it as kids playing in the mud on the backroads behind the house. Later I can see my car coming down the road. I guess I've already gotten used to the sound because I didn't think it was that loud, not to mention I'm usually in the car and not hearing it approach or depart. I don't know exactly where he was when I first heard it but it took a few minutes for him to pull up so I clocked it from the beginning of our road to the driveway tonight and it is exactly 1 mile.
I also wish I had gotten a picture of the tips before we put them on because the top is stamped with SLP. I thought it was kinda neat b/c my initials are SLR and when I got home I tried to get him to believe they were "personalized" just for me and had been goofed up. He didn't buy it though.

Hey guys
I'm sure my sound clip is very similar to the SLP. My tips are 4" Vs the 3.5" of the SLP. Car is loud, but you can control it. WOT is awesome.
Hit my sound clip in my sig. Bottom of first page.

hehe..... but is it good drone or bad drone?
and Pony Express, unfortunatly, your clip is distorted and has suffered from the compression, and it doesnt really give a clear picture of what is sounds like. sorry.

Ya, that's the problem with clips on the Internet. All I can say is I solicit 4000 automotive businesses & when they hear my car they can't believe how great it sounds. Old school all the way.
