I installed the Slp's last night, I have no x pipe or other mods YET. I seemed to have lost some power or torque, It pulled real strong before the swap out...also, I did NOT disconnect the battery. Anybody have any ideas? I really dont understand the whole diconnect the battery thing, I dont know if this is the answer or not, if somebody could explain it to me I would be grateful.
I am a little hesitant to do this...I was reading a thread a few weeks ago, the guy was putting aK+N/ flowmaster install and disconnected the battery, the car ran real bad for 300 miles

In the future search because this has already been dicussed. Now you should have pulled the battery for around 20 minutes or more. Then drive the car and you should notice the same amount if not slightly more torque after 300 to 500 miles. I only have SLPs with the stock tune and can chrip 2nd and 3rd without a problem.

Just give the computer a few 100 miles and it will relearn your new exhaust- very common in todays vehicles
