Thumbs up

I am considering installing shorty headers along with the Magnaflow mufflers this winter. Anyone know where to buy them yet?

Also, are the headers an easy self install??

Thanks,
Mike

More than likely - it will not be easy to install in the tight compartment. Steeda has one coming soon, and JBA will have one the first 2 weeks on December.

I would like to put a set on my GT also however the gas still has to go through the cats. Good ones are not cheap there for I will need to see some TRUE HP figures before I am willing to put my $$ down.
Bryan when you purchase them please get the stainless as thats my intrest. LOL

For those of you that are unaware. Bryan I have or rather will have twin cars. Redfire GT autos. He is in search of power and is doing a lot of mods to his ride with dyno pulls with verification. What power mods work for him will go on on mine.

Those stock manifolds look pretty good to me. If your not going to do long tubes& low restriction cats I wouldn't waste your money on the shorty's. My .02

I also have a Torch Red, Auto. Doing exhaust next week with mufflers delete, will post pics.

Nice to see Mongoose will have a Redfire GT Auto like mine. It sure did get a lot of attention at the Autorama this past weekend. Came away with a 4th place award for my efforts! I've had it since Oct. 23rd and it's a SWEET ride bro. Can't wait to see yours! Talk to ya soon.....John

Think the shorty's are worth doing now that i've added an x-pipe? Planning on keeping the factory cats.....LMK as i was interested in possibly getting the Steeda shortys but for what they cost and the cost of the install (considerable i'm sure) it may not be worth it....John

Compared to after market companies, it takes Ford forever to get new stuff out there.
