I found a lot of good info in the forums and have decided to go with the Hurst. Just wanted to see what other people were planning on getting or already have.

Again with the B&M. I'm not ******* on you I'm actually glad it worked out for someone, but every other member here that I've discussed the B&M with agrees that the design is crap. I'm thoroughly pissed that I had to install it and sell it for half what I paid two weeks later.

If anyone that isn't up to speed on that shifter wants to know why it sucks just do a search.

I had the Steeda Tri-Ax on my Stang, but after trying the Hurst in someone else's Stang, I have to go with the that.

Well, I can tell you first hand we are in the process of making some changes to the shifter for the 05..I installed the old version and now the new version in my car and there is a big difference...

I have the Hurst...love it, but for a couple cosmetic blems. Both the **** and boot adapter were scuffed up upon arrival. Been waiting for replacement parts... I see they are set to release a billet model now.

This is a silly poll. Who's going to vote for a shifter they don't have???? This poll should be properly titled: Shifters, vote for the one you have.

Yes, the only thing you're going to find out, is which is the most bought shifter. Still with owner's feedback having a big say in some of my mod choices, maybe it does mean something to the new buyer.

I voted for Hurst, even though I still have the stock shifter.

I saw the Competition Plus Hurst short throw shifter with the white ball in Davids2Toys car, and that thing is awesome. It looks great, feels firm, and the shifts are only half as long as the stock shifter - what's not to like?

I will definitely be getting a Hurst for mine too. The only reason I haven't yet is that I'm waiting for the billet model to be available. The standard Competition Plus is part number 391 0201, while the billet shifter is 391 5201. Here are pictures of the two:

I don't know for sure that I'd go with the billet - if it feels the same, then I'd probably just go with the standard Hurst and save some money. But I've waited this long, so I might as well wait a bit more so I can read some reviews of the billet and decide which one to go with.

I voted for "Other." I have the Steeda Bushings and the Saleen Adaptor. It makes me happy.

Is there any chance you can disclose any of the changes made?
