Just installed my Pro 5.0 shifter yesterday and I like the way it shifts but the arm is so far to the left that it rubs the side of the shifter boot in 1st and 2nd. Doesn't really seem safe to me. I didn't install it otherwise I wouldn't ask, but can the shifter arm be attached to the other side?

 

You must have made a mistake during the install. I've installed two of these shifters without issues, once in my 2005 GT and later in my 2008 Shelby GT. Maybe recheck that you followed the directions correctly? Sorry.

 

Well I didn't install it, like I said. I think I just need to swap the shift handle on to the other side. Gonna try that after I get out of work...

 

The arm should be mounted on the passenger side of the shifter.

 

Yea thanks man. I just swapped it on my lunch break haha. Pro 5.0 bliss...
