Fastest 05+ 1/4mi Time On TMS

Well, I have the shift light installed. The only problem is one wire that is supposed to go to the tach line or coils. Even my mechanic, that purchased an 05 manuel, can't find out which wire is the tach line. I've tried connecting to 2 different locations. NO-GO. Has ANYONE hooked up or know anyone that has wired up a shift light? It's driving me crazy. Just can't figure it out.

i had the same problem when i had my zx2, i ended up picking the tach signal up off of the computer feed to the indash guage, worked flawless

the 05 is a totally diff story though

Have you tried contacting the mfg of the light for help? I want one also, but I never dreamed it would be a problem with the hook up. Tell them you know others who are awaiting a solution before they purchase one.
