Shaker system and Steeda CAI ????

Shaker system and Steeda CAI ????
A friend of mine just had the Shaker system done and also had the Steeda CAI.....but when I looked under his hood, it does not look finished...the intake plastic tube coming from the shaker is just open and so is the tube from down below....is there a better way to have this done.?...I did not say anything to him.....till I knew better
