Selling a Steeda CAI and SCT Tuner

Before trading in my 2005 GT, I put the stock air intake back on and returned the tune to stock. Can the person who buys the CAI and SCT use the tunes (assuming they have a 2005 manual and no other mods?) or will they have to buy a new tune? I purchased from Brent at Brenspeed if that makes any difference. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm an old guy and not into computers.

thanks,
mitch

If the buyer has the same CPU code, he can use the tunes. Otherwise they will have to be modified.

The buyer is saying that he is getting a "tuner is locked" message. Is there a way for him to unlock this on his end if I reset my car to stock before shipping it off?
I've read other posts that mention using liveload to unlock the VIN, but I have no idea what liveload is.
