it seemes I've outgrown my motor

I have been talking over the past week with my now current engine builder about a new motor for my car. Some say i got bored and need more power and durability...We have gone back and forth with numerous ideas and we have come to a conclusion of what it should be built like. I'm is looking for approximately 700Hp. I think this should accomodate that and then some. Durability shouldn't be a problem since My builder has never had one of his engines blown up and he knows where I lives so if i do break it or don't maintain this motor in meticulous condition, He will come to NY and kick my ***....

So, at the beginning of April, The build process begins. Below is a parts list of what is going in the motor. After completing the longblock, the KB will be set back on top of it and all the sensors/wiring, etc. attached and it will be ready to go.

This thread will be a journal of the build. I will post everything I can, including pics, during the build and then I will continue it with the final assembly and installation and dyno/track results. Final Assembly will be done at Piedmont Modular Performance, PMP for short.

To start with, these are the major parts.....

Stock displacement. the strokers arent as reliable as the non strokers and require much more maitenance.

with a rebuilt tranny repalcing the internals and a 26 spline input shaft she should be ok. eventually im switching to the 6 speed

I posted some from last week, did you see them?

And yes, I plan on being at the track this Saturday (March 3). I'm having my alternator rebuilt as we speak... Ford wanted $470 for a new one. The rebuilt alternator is supposed to be done tomorrow. If it is, then I'll be at the track.

Whoops.... sorry Ron. Didn't mean to hijack. Blame Scott.

Hey Ron,
Glad to see the parts list getting more and more complete.
Did you confirm the ARP part numbers for the head studs and the main studs to be 05+ specific?
I know many people were using the earlier head studs and not screwing them in all the way.
