SCT Xcal II Question?
I have the version 1 Xcal which has no adjustability other than what the tuner has programmed into it.
If I ever want to go back to stock and I have 4:10 gears does the Xcal II let you change the factory tune by recalibrating the gear ratio? To rephrase the question can I have the oem stock tune with 4:10 gears using the Xcal II?
In Kalifornia the dealer can't or won't recalibrate your car for the gear change because of emmissions laws.

Nope. At least I haven't figured out how to.
I drove all the way from the Bay Area to L.A. on the OEM tune with my 4.10s. The speedo and odometer will be off, but that's about it.
I figure you want to do this to go to the dealer, right? Just return it to stock, because they should be driving your car fast enough to realize that the speedo is off.

I would load a custom tune that has NOTHING changed over stock (easy to have this tune as ALL of the custom tunes are BUILT off of it) with ONLY the gear ratio/tire revs per mile altered in the tune.
ANY SCT dealer could do this for you.

That's what I believe to be true. I did this with my '04 Mach 1, only was using a Predator.
