Cool! that's the first one I've seen installed. is that the stock hood with a hole cut in it? and does it require Saleen motor mounts?

Could you please measure from the rear of the hood to the back edge of the opening? I'm curious to see if it matches up with my CDC shaker opening. Thanks.

Yes stock hood w/hole and stock motor mounts. I was thinking of new motor mounts but that might effect the shaker seal to the hood.

I will measure this evening and get back to you. I think it's the same as CDC's position because
that's what I had on previously.

It was making 445 RWHP before Kooks long tubes and SuperShaker. Not really sure at this point, I need to get it dyno tuned.

Hey FRARMAR, one of the guys on another forum just did an install of the Shaker Top. I think his name was kenneth, anyway I asked if he could measure the opening for the Shaker after he cut the hole. He sent along a picture with some basic measurements. Here you go.
Nice job Sprint200 looks great. I'm thinking about an upgrade to my 05 Saleen Series VI in the spring.

Yes, the Super Shaker will fit the hole if you already have a CDC setup on there now.

Looks great. I've heard a few sound clips of the new SuperShaker, and it definitely has a distinct tone at WOT.

Yes, if you have a Saleen hood with the 2 vents on either side, it will work, you will just need to call Saleen and get a different trim ring for the hood from the Dark Horse:

(Personally, I think the Saleen vented hood w/ the Super Shaker is the ONLY way to go!)
